Baby Love is here!
Love is a newborn sized full body silicone doll. She was sculpted and poured by Lisa Stone, and painted by me. She is a super soft marshmallow blend so care must be taken when handling her as she is slightly more delicate than just an Eco20 platinum silicone. She is very squishy and feels real to hold for sure! She has armature in her arms and legs that I placed. Her mouth has been opened and the inside of her mouth is not painted. She is painted in pinky red newborn tones. She has veining, a little baby scratch on her cheek, rooted lashes, and lightly painted brows. She is bald and can be rooted by another artist if buyer chooses at buyer’s expense.
This is NOT the doll for a child and care must be taken not to hyper extend her limbs to avoid tearing. She required careful and gentle handling much like an actual newborn.
Paints used: SilcPig and SAM pigments with Psychopaint A&B
Powders used: PanPastel powders
Matted with: D3 Matting Powder
She wears newborn clothing and newborn diapers. She is able to take a pacifier. She DOES NOT have a drink and wet system. She does have armature in arms and legs.
Love is being sold as a boo-boo baby with is reflected in her price. While on display at the West Coast Doll Show, she was roughly handled and the corners of her mouth split. This has been repaired and she is capable of taking a pacifier. I suggest using pacifier liquid, which I will include. She also has kind of an imperfect finish with some pilling ( NOT peeling ) that can be normal with silicone especially marshmallow blends. Her diaper area is imperfect as I tried to repair a paint drip and the repair is imperfect, just more red than the rest of her. It’s not visible unless she is fully undressed. She is still a beautiful and snuggly doll and will make someone very happy!
Love will come with her COA and a full box opening including purple outfit shown, additional outfit, sleeper, hat, bows, pacifier, fuzzy blanket, and extras of my choosing. She will also come with a sample of matting powder, a powder brush, and a sample size of pacifier lubricant to ensure ease of use with pacifiers.
